Youth

SCC Youth Mission: "To lead a generation toward the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ."

The Youth are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today! It is our desire to unite the Jr. High and High School Students of Selah with:

• Christ as the head of their lives.
• Other Christian peers in our community
• Cross-Generational connection and mentors

We do this through weekly youth group meetings that included games that bond, and worship, messages and discussions that help us understand who we are in Christ. We also encourage participation in Sunday Church Services. Many of our students help out in various serving roles: from helping in the nursery, leading
Vacation Bible School, serving at the Union Gospel Mission, building houses in Mexico, and many other opportunities. We also have a ton of fun going to camp, retreats, concerts, hiking in the woods, backpacking through our beautiful state, floating the Yakima River, and countless other activities both planned and unplanned.
